Pharmacy operations at the downtown outpatient clinic, pharmacy operations at the hospital headquarters, inpatient pharmacy operations (including emergencies) and drug inventory management.

Introduction to Operations /

1.Outpatient pharmacy operation:
◎To receive and fill prescriptions.
◎To double check drugs before distribution and provide medication guidance.
◎To review and handle problematic prescriptions
◎Medicine consultation service

2.Inpatient Pharmacy Operations:
◎Receiving and filling inpatient prescriptions with an automatic unit dose packing machine.
◎Receiving and filling discharged patient prescriptions.
◎Hospital medicine consultation service
◎Regulation of antibiotic and high end drug use
◎Evaluation and handling of problematic prescriptions
◎Provision of medicine information
◎Editing of hospital prescriptions

3.Teaching and Training:
◎On the job education and practice teaching

4.Handling of Clinic Medication:

◎Evaluation of prescribed medicine: Examination of patient prescriptions and medicine consumption records and requests to physicians to check problematic prescriptions and reconfirm their correctness.
◎Examination, reporting, tracking and introduction of adverse drug reaction cases.
