Department Introduction /

Physicians in this department have all been trained at the rehabilitation department of Taipei Veterans General Hospital and accredited with the qualification of specialists. They all have profound clinical knowledge and skilled treatment experience for acute and chronic symptoms (e.g. sore waist, aching back, stroke, limb paralysis, etc.) commonly seen in the rehabilitation department and utilization of social resources (e.g. occupational accidents, labor insurance disability benefits, foreign worker application, etc.). With such a competent team, we are confident that, rather than taking a great deal of time to see a doctor in Taipei or Luodong, the people in Yilan area may leave their medical problems to the professional, dedicated and responsible crew in the rehabilitation department of our hospital. In doing so, their problems will be attended to with special care.

•Services：
‧Orthopedics physiotherapy for degenerative arthritis, cervical vertebra syndrome, lower back pain, torticollis, tendonitis, treatment after artificial knee joint replacement surgery, and amputation patient services.
‧Neurological physiotherapy for stroke, brain injuries, spine injuries and peripheral nerve injuries
‧Pediatric physiotherapy for cerebral palsy and down syndrome patients
‧Cardiopulmonary physiotherapy for angina, myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass surgery and heart transplant patients

•Physiotherapist Zeng - Yu Zhen：
Education： Rehabilitation Department, Fooyin University
Work experience： 7 years as a full time physiotherapist at the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital, concurrently working at the rehabilitation center at Luodong Pao-Ai Hospital part time.

•Physiotherapist - Lin Chu Juan：
Education：Rehabilitation Department, Tzu Chi College of Technology
Work experience： Worked at the rehabilitation center of Luodong Pao Ai Hospital for four months as a part time job, the rehabilitation department of Zhao-Ren Clinic for 18 months, and Zheng Yu-Nan Rehabilitation Clinic for three years. Currently, a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital.

•Physiotherapist - Lee Li Ting:
Education：physiotherapy department, Chung Shan Medical University
Work experience：full time physiotherapist at the special education resources center of the Education Bureau of Yilan County Government for two years, and Cheng Hsin Rehabilitation Center for two years. Currently, a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital.

•Physiotherapist - Liao Ya Huei：
Education：Rehabilitation department, Fooyin University
Work experience：four years at the rehabilitation department of Jen Ai Hospital, and the rehabilitation department of Buddhist Pumen Hospital for two years. Also, worked as a nurse at the endocrinology department of Pao Ai Hospital for two years. Currently, a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital.

•Physiotherapist - Zhao Min Ru:

Work experience： Worked at Nanhu Hong Kong Rehabilitation Clinic for two years, the rehabilitation department of Zhao-Ren Clinic for 22 months. Currently, a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital

Work experience：Yuanshan factory of Wang Shang Corporation, Xu Xing Technical Corporation, and currently at the rehabilitation department of Yuanshan Veterans Hospital for 4 years.

•Attendant - Sun Yi He：

•Treatment：Physiological examination /neurological electric studies, electromyography, high frequency echo of muscle and skeleton system, orthopedic rehabilitation/back pain over shoulders and neck, sore waist and aching back, sciatica, torticollis, arthritis, acute and chronic sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation/stroke, traumatic brain injuries and spine injuries
•Treatment instruments and facilities：Lowe frequency electrotherapy, intermediate frequency electronic stimulus, short waves, ultrasonic waves, laser, wax therapy, hot compress therapy, infrared ray therapy, cold therapy, traction therapy, uniform motion therapy instruments, and other kinds of sports therapy instruments, such as therapy mattress, stair climbers, slopes, parallel bars, computerization and equilibrium evaluation training instruments in which therapists utilize various instruments to evaluate patient status and formulate an optimal treatment plan and method, to give patients the most pertinent treatment .
